Movers in Tiburon and Belvedere, Planned Around One Road

The Tiburon Peninsula has bay on three sides, so every moving truck enters and leaves on Tiburon Boulevard from US-101. East of Trestle Glen Boulevard it narrows to two lanes, and a slow truck or a delivery van can back it up quickly. Paradise Drive loops around the other side of the peninsula, but it is winding and slow, not a bypass for a heavy truck. That is why a Tiburon move starts with timing: when to come down the boulevard, where to stop and how long the truck will sit there.

Downtown and Main Street

Ark Row, the ferry landing and condos near the water. Little curb space and lots of foot traffic. Short, well-planned stops work best.

Old Tiburon and Lyford Cove

Older homes on small hillside lots with steps and narrow lanes.

Bel Aire, Reed Ranch and Del Mar

Mid-century subdivisions inland from the boulevard. Ranch and split-level houses with driveways, usually the most straightforward access on the peninsula.

Homes spread along the winding shore road, including waterfront houses with docks.

• On-site estimate. We see the driveway, stairs and decks in person. No video quotes.
• Street rules. The Town of Tiburon has its own rules for work and parking in the street right of way. We check what applies to your street and date.
• Truck access. On narrow hill streets we position the truck so neighbors can still get by, and if the access calls for a shuttle we tell you before move day.
• Building paperwork. Condo associations near downtown often want a certificate of insurance. Ours is free once you send the HOA name, mailing address and email.
• Move day. The crew calls about 30 minutes out, protects floors and railings, and wraps everything before it moves.

Condos by Main Street and smaller Bel Aire houses usually take our 3-mover crew, $175 an hour. Hillside view homes with 4 or more bedrooms, or 3 bedrooms over 1,800 square feet, take 4 movers at $235 an hour, especially with stairs to the street. We bill a 3-hour minimum and then each 15 minutes, at the same rate every day of the week. Blankets, tape, wardrobe boxes, floor protection and furniture disassembly are included. Packing materials, if you want us to pack, are billed only as used.

Tiburon is about 48 miles northwest of downtown San Jose in a straight line. Tiburon Boulevard meets US-101 a few miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is no charge for coming to you. Drive time between your two addresses is billed at double only when they are more than 10 minutes apart, which is a California requirement. A move between Tiburon and San Francisco is usually over that line.

From mid-July to late October 2026 we received 4 quote requests from Marin, not counting account work. All were local, and all booked or were completed.

• Belvedere: island stair moves and flat lagoon homes at the tip.
• Sausalito: across Richardson Bay, with houseboats and posted-sign parking.
• Marina District: flat San Francisco blocks across the water.
• Cow Hollow: Victorian flats near Union Street in San Francisco.
• Russian Hill: steep San Francisco streets and elevator buildings.
