How is long distance moving priced?
By weight. Your estimate lists the rate per pound and a minimum space reservation (for example 3,000 lb within California). Weight-based estimates are non-binding: the final price follows the actual weight and any added services. A flat fee for a reserved truck is binding.
How long does delivery take?
On average, West Coast 3-7 days, Mountain and Central 7-10 days, East Coast 10-14 days. By policy, interstate delivery is within 30 days of your first available date, and moves within California are delivered within 7 business days, or next day when you reserve the truck (5,000 lb).
Will my things be transferred to another truck?
With the flat fee or the reserved truck, no: your shipment travels directly, handled only at loading and unloading. Ask us about the route for other moves.
What does a binding flat fee mean?
You reserve an entire truck for one fixed price. It does not change with the weight or access at delivery unless you add services there.
Are there extra charges?
Interstate moves can include stairs ($35 per 1,000 lb after the first flight), long carry over 100 ft, elevator, and shuttle when a big truck cannot reach the door. Within California and flat-fee moves have none of these at delivery.
How do I pay?
50% on the day of pickup and 50% on delivery, by cash, money order, Visa or Mastercard. Card payments carry a 3% fee and are due one day before delivery.
