How is moving storage billed?
Storage is a flat fee per 30-day period from the day your items go in. It is never prorated or discounted, and recurring payment can be set up.

You pay one flat fee for each 30-day period your belongings are in storage, counted from the date they go in. Partial periods are not prorated, and storage fees are never discounted. To make it easy, recurring online payment can be set up.
02Billing rules at a glance
| Rule | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Flat monthly fee | Same amount each period, no surprises |
| 30-day periods | Counted from your in date, not the calendar month |
| No proration | A started period is billed in full |
| No discounts | Repeat and referral discounts apply to moving, not storage |
03An example timeline
Say your items go into storage on March 10. Your first period covers March 10 through April 8, the second runs from April 9 through May 8, and so on. If you call for delivery on April 20, you have used part of the second period, and that period is billed in full. Planning your delivery date near the end of a period gets the most out of each fee.
Because the fee is flat, there is no meter running on how often you check in or how long the items sit. The only things that set your total are the price David quotes for your load and the number of periods you use. If your closing date slips by a week or two, you can work out the cost ahead of time instead of guessing.
04How storage fits with your move bill
The move into storage and the delivery out are separate jobs, billed like any other local move by the hour. A repeat customer or referral discount can come off those moving totals, but it does not apply to the monthly storage fee. David sends the storage price for your load together with your moving quote, so you can budget both before booking.
