Do I need to pay a deposit to book a local move?
No. Spartan needs no deposit to book a local move and there is no cost to confirm. You pay in full at the end. Long distance is 50/50.

No. There is no deposit and no cost to confirm a local move with us. Payment is due at the end of the move, once the work is done.
Paying on moving day
Nothing is charged when you reply to your quote, when we confirm your date, or when we check in 3 days ahead. When the last item is in place, the crew totals the time and any materials used and collects payment on site. If you pay by card, the team processes it right there. We accept:
- Cash
- Money order
- Visa or Mastercard, with a 3% processing fee (debit cards included)
We do not accept checks, Zelle or Venmo for the move. Tips are separate and optional; customary amounts run 10-20%, and they go straight to the movers.
Since the bill depends on actual time, the exact amount is only known when the job wraps up. Your emailed quote gives the hourly rate and the 3-hour minimum, so you can work out the lowest possible total and plan from there. For a firm ceiling instead, ask for a free on-site inspection and a not-to-exceed price.
