Can I get a moving estimate by video call?
No. Spartan does not do video estimates because the margin of error is too high. Choose a free on-site estimate or a phone or email quote.

No, we do not do estimates over video. A camera misses too much, and a price built on a partial view ends up wrong in one direction or the other. You have two choices instead: a free on-site visit with a not-to-exceed price, or a quick non-binding quote by phone or email.
Why not video
Video sounds convenient, and some movers offer it. In our experience the margin of error is too high. On a phone screen:
- Closets, cabinets and under-bed storage look half as full as they are
- A dresser and an armoire can look the same size
- Parking, hallway width and the walk to the truck are hard to judge
- The garage and storage areas often get skipped
A low guess helps no one on moving day, and a high guess scares people off for no reason.

Making a phone quote more accurate
If you go the phone or email route, the more you tell us, the closer the number. Give the bedroom count or square footage, the big pieces (sectional, piano, safe), whether you are packing yourself, and both ZIP codes so we can account for drive time. Questions and answers
- Why do other movers offer virtual estimates if you do not?
Every company decides how it prices. We chose not to, because we would rather give you a number we can stand behind.
- Can I send photos instead?
Photos help for a specific heavy item, like anything over 300 pounds, so David can confirm how to handle it. They are not a substitute for an on-site estimate of the whole home.
- Is a phone quote a guaranteed price?
No. It is a non-binding estimate. For a firm maximum, book the free in-home visit.
- Do I pay anything for the on-site visit?
No, the visit is free.
