A king box spring is the piece that tends to cause trouble on narrow or turning staircases, because it cannot fold. The crew brings what it needs to control it on the stairs. If you already know your stairwell is unusually tight, say so when you book, and if a photo would help, send one along.
Is reassembly really included?
Yes. Taking apart and putting back beds, sectional sofas and dining tables is part of every residential move. You pay only for the time it takes, not a separate assembly fee. A simple platform frame is quick; a storage bed with drawers and many bolts takes longer. Leave the bedding in a labeled box so you can make the bed the first night.
