What does the Golden Package include?

The Golden Package is our full packing service. For $70 per hour on top of the crew rate, the team packs every loose item in the home and supplies all the boxes, paper, bubble wrap and dish packs it takes, with no separate packing fee and no materials bill at the end.

• Packing labor for kitchens, closets, bookshelves, bathrooms, garages and every other room with contents.
• All packing supplies: boxes of every size, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, dish packs.
• Everything Silver covers: mattress covers, TV boxes, and protection for mirrors, large frames and glass tops.
• Free extras every move gets: moving blankets, tape, wardrobe boxes and floor protection.

Because supplies are built into the rate, the usual line that bills materials one by one disappears from your invoice. You still decide at the end of the move, after comparing the total with and without the package. See our packing services overview for how the team works room by room.

Most full-packing homes use 3 or 4 movers, so those are the two numbers you will usually see on a quote. For example, on a job billed at 7 hours with 3 movers, Golden adds 7 x $70 = $490 to the labor total and replaces the materials bill entirely. The package rate runs for the whole job, from the first box taped to the last piece placed in the new home. Pack your valuables and important papers yourself: jewelry, passports, cash, keepsakes, anything you would not want out of your sight. The crew handles the rest, including the pieces you might be nervous about, like stemware and framed photos. If there is a shelf or closet you want left alone, point it out when the team arrives.
