How many movers will you send for my move?
Spartan's standard team is 3 movers. Larger homes get 4, and 2 is only for very small moves. David sets the crew size from your home's size.
Can I ask for a bigger team?
Yes. Ask David, and he will tell you whether a fourth mover is likely to save time on your move.
Does the crew size change the truck?
No. Every crew uses our 26-foot truck; only the number of movers changes.
Is the rate per mover or for the team?
For the whole team and the truck together.
How do I know how many movers are coming?
Your confirmation states the number of movers assigned to your job.
It depends on the size of your home
Most moves get our standard team of three movers. Homes with three bedrooms over 1,800 square feet, or four or more bedrooms, get four. A two-person team is reserved for very small moves or when you ask for it. David sets the crew when he prepares your quote, and your confirmation spells it out as a team of a set number of movers and a truck.

Why bigger homes get a bigger team
A bigger team has a higher hourly rate, but it also finishes sooner, which narrows the difference on a large house. On a studio there is not enough work to keep a big team busy, so a smaller team makes sense.
Pianos have their own rules. A grand or baby grand always gets four movers. An upright gets four only when there is a flight of stairs; otherwise three.
